As I sit here, watching my fiery, almost two-year-old Ivy toddle around with determination and a never ending amount of energy, I can’t help but think about how our incredible journey reminds me of professional growth, not only for a business owner but also for an Executive Assistant.
Ivy came into the world three weeks early and silent, causing panic from the get-go. She had trouble nursing, dropped more than 10% of her body weight in the first week, and was in the less-than-3rd percentile for weight. It was a scary time, especially since formula feeding was uncharted territory for me, not to mention there was a formula shortage.

Fast-forward almost two years, and she's a thriving 36-pound, 100+ percentile powerhouse, catching up to her six-year-old brother in size. These days, she causes panic by trying to climb on everything and jump off of furniture.
Ivy's journey is a testament to the power of trusting the process, and it's a lesson that applies not only to parenting but also to our careers and personal growth.

In my professional journey, I've often second-guessed my decisions, wondering if I'm doing enough to nurture and grow my career and business. It's easy to become consumed by self-doubt and fear, especially when progress seems slow or non-existent.
But Ivy's transformation reminds me that growth isn't always linear or predictable. There will be times when we feel like we're failing to thrive, stuck with no light at the end of the tunnel. It's during these moments that we have to remember to trust the process, to keep pushing forward, and to feed our passions with love, dedication, and perseverance.

As I watch Ivy's determination and strong will, I see a future leader in the making. Her story reminds me that our struggles can shape us into the people we're meant to be. The same is true for our businesses and careers. By embracing challenges, learning from them, and refusing to give up, we lay the foundation for success and growth.
To anyone struggling right now, feeling stuck or uncertain, remember that growth is often disguised in the hardships we face. Keep doing what you enjoy, keep nurturing your passions, keep believing in yourself. And if you need support or guidance along the way, don't hesitate to reach out. Together, we can learn to trust the process and turn our struggles into stepping stones for a brighter future.

Stay curious, my friends!
